The quality assurance policy at Faculty of Medicine Hasanuddin University is based on the Internal Quality Assurance System Document (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal/ SPMI) and is in accordance with Dean’s Decree Number 47/UN4.6/KEP/2020. The scope of SPMI Unhas policy covers all aspects of implementing higher education both in the academic and non-academic fields. The quality assurance system at the Faculty level refers to the flow diagram for quality assurance at the University level. The Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Study Programme has developed certain quality standards.
To support the implementation of quality standards, the Quality Assurance Unit provides a procedural manual and work forms to refer to. All department activities both academic and non-academic, are carried out to achieve established quality standards. Faculty leaders regularly monitor the performance of study programmes, one of which is through faculty work meetings. The learning process and results are evaluated every year through an online system. Research and community service activities are also monitored regularly by the Institute for Research and Community Services of Hasanuddin University. The performance of lecturers and education staff is evaluated every semester. In addition, every year, the study program undergoes an Internal Quality Audit twice by the Quality Assurance Unit. The findings are then conveyed to the study programme to be evaluated. Follow-up efforts carried out by the study programme are monitored by the Department’s Quality Assurance Unit and reported to the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit. The Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit then analyzes the results of achieving standards for all study programmes, makes recommendations and reports to the Faculty leaders.
