Mission of the Study Program
- Organizing service-based education and evidence-based cardiology in the field of Cardiology and Vascular disease through a comprehensive and quality maritime culture approach.
- Increasing the quantity and quality of basic and applied research in the field of Cardiology and Vascular disease at national and international levels.
- Creating a good management system for medical education specialists in heart disease and blood vessels.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
In order to measure the graduate quality and as a benchmark to other professional care, Cardiology and Vascular Medicine specialist program formulate intended qualification profile, with reference from World Federation for Medical Education, as follows:
- Care Provider: Graduates will be qualified to practice as cardiologists and will be skilled in providing a diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care across the range from complex illnesses as well as disease prevention and community health promotion.
- Educator: The ability to educate, supervise, and train future medical doctors and other health professionals to work in clinical settings as well as in the community to enhance patient and community health particularly in cardiovascular sciences.
- Researcher: Graduates will be qualified to work in government or non-government health care, academic, and scientific institutions as scientists who advance in cardiovascular research.
- Leader and manager: Graduates will be able to work in a multidisciplinary team in cardiovascular health care as a team leader or manager to ensure patient safety and care services
